Hi guys,

I just wanted to let you know why things have been so silent around here. Things are pretty messed up here in the Netherlands.

I run my blogs from home in a really great home office; I broke a several walls down and combined the rooms into one large office which is really a fantastic place to work.

The problem is this; my Internet Service Provider was Speedlinq but this company was taken over by Telfort and they would be my new ISP. When I was notified about this I contacted Speedlinq and they guaranteed me that the transfer would go flawless. In the years that Speedlinq was my ISP I never had any problems with them and now that I’m with Telfort I’m already offline since the end of June!!

I’m on the phone with them at least twice a day. They told me that I would have connection back yesterday but I still haven’t. I’m writing this post at my neighbor. The problem is that I started this business from a hobby and that this is a personal line and not a business connection.

I have no idea when we are going to be online again, we are trying to start up a business and unfortunately they don’t see the urge of us. For the Dutch among you; if you are thinking of changing ISP, don’t consider Telfort!!

So I’m very sorry for the silence but as soon as we get our connection back we’ll be kicking it into high gear. And for all of you that have send me e-mails; I’m very sorry but I’ll get back to you as soon as possible!! I can read some of the accounts on my mobile but due to the large amount of accounts and emails it is just too difficult to answer all of them.

This has turned out to be a real lesson; don’t use Telfort and if you are a thinking of taking a hobby to a professional level; take a business connection where you have “online” guarantees.

Again sorry for the silence!!

Greetings from the Netherlands!!
