First of all; welcome at our company site! It’s a pleasure seeing you here.
You are probably here because you want to know Who we are, What we do, Why we do it and Where we do it? Our site is almost completely under construction and we are changing a lot in the coming months but I’ll try to explain it briefly, okay let’s get started.
Who are we?
Promedia Blogging itself is run by 3 people; my girlfriend Lonneke Poel is working as our creative director, my brother Rob Sparreboom is helping out as a part time graphics designer and me Vincent Sparreboom, I’m the founder and CEO.
We started out as a small family business but due to the enormous growth that we are experiencing, we were forced to expand our company and we have now steady relations with several US and Australian copywriters and several US blog and graphics designers and developers.
And what do we do?
Promedia Blogging can be divided into 3 business units. The first is Promedia Professional Wordpress Services where we build and maintain weblogs for companies, organisations and schools. A good example of this is the new site for Scouting Cuijk that we recently launched. We want our sites to be an interactive extension of a company or organisation.
The second business unit is the Promedia Blog and Affiliate Network, after all we are Probloggers and Affiliate Marketers. We have our known blogs like The World of Office, XP and Vista Tips and Tricks but we also have many unknown blogs that we use for our Affiliate Net’s. Our network exists out of mainly English blogs and sites but we are building several additional Dutch blogs that we are launching in the near future.
The third and last business unit is Promedia DMP which stands for Digital Media Productions and this business unit is managed by Lonneke. We produce or help customers in producing tools for mainly the Blogosphere (although they can be used for just about every website). Some of these tools and items are custom Banners and Logo’s, Podcasts, Vodcasts and Wordpress Plugins and Themes.
But why did we start Promedia Blogging?
Promedia Blogging is officially founded in 2007 but I was already blogging in 2006. Since the blogs and websites took up so much of my time, we had the opportunity to take it to a professional level around September 2007. A big thank you goes out to my employer of that time, he wasn’t that happy with my extra and successful side job and he is now responsible for the extra boost that Promedia needed at that time.
We are now a young company that already has an firm established name in the Blogosphere because of the personal way of doing business. We are small company and we don’t accept every order. If we do take on an order we want to do it right or where not doing at all. A weblog is something personal, it represents a person, a company or an organisation and we believe that you can only accomplish this feeling for a customer blog if we handle the order with our personal passion and devotion. We work with third parties like designers and copywriters but we manage the projects ourselves.
And what about Where?
We are located in the Netherlands but primarily we work outside the Netherlands. This has grown this way but why this is we don’t know because we do accept orders from within the Netherlands. Probably because of that almost all our blogs are in the English language. We even live in a US time zone. If you contact us and you are from Europe please understand that we live in the afternoon and at night. We are Probloggers and we don’t have any opening hours but we do like to sleep.
